- The Gonzaga Bulldogs host Loyola Marymount University this Saturday, Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. This marks the last regular season game of the year for GU. The team will honor five seniors before tipoff for Senior Day.Â
- Gonzaga is coming off a 44-point WCC win with a 85-41 victory at home on Thursday night. Senior
Melody Kempton led the team with 15 points and six rebounds. Freshman
Maud Huijbens had a career-best 12 points and grabbed five rebounds.Â

Cierra Walker is ranked 19th in the country and first in the WCC in three-point field-goal percentage as she has averaged 42.4 percent so far this year.

Melody Kempton is currently ranked second in the conference in field-goal percentage at 54.1 percent.
- From the charity stripe, the Zags are second in the WCC in free throws made (366) and second in free-throw percentage 76.6, which also ranks 23rd in the nation.
- Defensively, the Bulldogs are first in the conference in scoring defense with 55.4 points. From beyond the arc, Gonzaga is shooting at 35 percent, which is first in the WCC.
- The Zags are averaging 40.3 rebounds a game and a 10.2 rebound margin, which ranks eighth in the nation and both marks rank first in the WCC.
- In conference games won this year, GU has an average margin of victory 20.2 by points.

- LMU is 9-17 overall and 4-12 in the conference this year. The Lions are also 5-11 on the road.Â
- Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount had one common non-confernece foe, the University of Hawaii. The Rainbow Warriors defeated MU, 76-63, on Dec. 5 in Honolulu.
- Ariel Johnson leads the Lions with 15.2 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. She also leads the team in assists with 98 and in steals with 50.Â
- Alexis Mork averages a team-high 8 rebounds a game and averages 29 minutes per contest.Â
- This is the first contest this year between Gonzaga and LMU as the original contest on Jan. 1 got postponed due to COVID protocols.Â
