Box Score SPOKANE, Wash — The Gonzaga men's tennis team continued its winning streak to four matches with a 5-2 win over New Mexico. 

The Zags came back after falling in the doubles point as Sasha Trkulja and Leon Roider claimed the one victory in doubles against Jan Pucalka and Alex Maggs, 6-4, in the No. 1 spot.

In singles, Arthus de la Bassetiere finished his match first with a 6-2, 6-3, win over Daniil Kakhniuk in the third spot. Oliver Andersson was the next one off after defeating Rafael Abdulsalam, 6-1, 6-4 in the No. 2 position.

Tom Hann competed in the No. 4 spot and went to a three set thriller, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2, over Alex Maggs to put Gonzaga up 3-1 in the match.

Trkulja clinched the match for the Bulldogs on the No. 1 court with a 6-2, 7-6 (6) win over Arda Azkara to give GU the 4-1 lead.

Leon Roider was the next one off the court as he fell to Jan Pucalka in the No. 5 spot with another three-set battle, 7-5, 4-6, 2-6.

Rounding out competition for the Zags was Pablo Gomez Galvan in the No. 6 court with a come-from-behind three-set victory over Georgio Samaha, 2-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1.

Up Next: The Bulldogs go on the road next weekend to take on Utah State on Friday, Feb. 11. The match is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
