SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 52 Gonzaga men's tennis team earned a 4-0 victory over Boise State at home today and increased their current winning streak to four.
 
Today's match began with a competitive doubles competition, as BSU's Caden Moortgat and Simon Arca Costas earned a 6-4 victory over Gonzaga's Sasha Trkulja and Matthew Hollingsworth on court one. In the No.3 spot, Gonzaga's Oliver Andersson and Theo McDonald defeated BSU's Michael Bott and Ryo Minakata 6-4. With the doubles competition tied, Gonzaga's Leon Roider and Tom Hann clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 court two victory over BSU's Jan Lucca Marquardt and James Van Herzeele.
 
Moving to the singles competition, Gonzaga increased their lead as Trkulja earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over BSU's Pedro Liborio on court one. Andersson helped Gonzaga stretch their lead with a 6-3, 6-3 court three victory over Marquardt. In the No.5 spot, the match was clinched for Gonzaga after Hann earned a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Minakata.
 
All other matches went unfinished, as Gonzaga had already clinched the 4-0 victory.

Up next: For the Gonzaga men's tennis team, they head to Provo, Utah to face BYU on Friday, March 25th at 11 am. This game begins an eight-game stretch of matches against WCC opponents.
