LAKEWOOD, Calif. – The Zags swept their match today against Boston College, only losing a single set in the process. 

Today's neutral site matchup began with the Zags taking all three double matches, including Gonzaga's Sasha Trkulja and Matthew Hollingworth victory over Boston College's Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh on court one. Gonzaga's Leon Roider and Tom Hann picked up a 6-4 doubles win against Will Kasten and Jake Vassel in spot No. 2. On court three, Oliver Andersson and Arthus de la Bassetiere added a win to Gonzaga's doubles competition with a 7-6 victory against Boston College's Matt Campbell and Oliver Worth. 

The singles competition included a 6-2, 6-1 court one win by Trkulja over Motlagh. Hollingworth also picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win against Worth in the No. 2 spot. Andersson added to Gonzaga's victory with a swift 6-0, 6-2 victory over Kasten on court three. 

The Zags continued their dominance as Bassetiere earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Campbell on court four. In the No. 5 spot, Hann defeated Vassel in straight sets, earning a 6-0, 6-4 victory. The closest match in the contest, Gonzaga's Pablo Gomez Galvan earned a gritty victory over Boston College's Shreekar Eedara, finishing on court six with a 7-5, 5-7, 10-7 final score. 

This was the Gonzaga's first sweep since their January 22nd match against Montana State, and their fourth sweep on the season. 

Up next: Continuing their five-game road trip, the Zags stay in California as they take on UC Riverside on Thursday, March 10th at 9 a.m. PST. The Zags will return to the Stevens Center on Friday, March 18th, when they face the University of Montana. Records: Gonzaga men's tennis overall record moves to 8-3 on the season after today's win. With the loss, the Boston College men's tennis team record goes to 3-5 overall on the year.
