HENDERSON, Nev. – Gonzaga men's golf is through two rounds of the West Coast Conference Championship tournament at Reflection Bay Golf Club. The final round is slated to tee off on Saturday to conclude the three-day event. The Bulldogs entered the day in ninth place at 16-over (304).

In Round 2, the Zags rose one spot on the team leaderboard after combining to shoot four-over (292). Now in eighth place, Gonzaga is 20-over par (596) heading into the third and final round. The team has made the second-most pars at 107, adding 25 birdies in Rounds 1 and 2.

Charlie Magruder leads all Zags heading into Round 3, posting a score of 69 (-3) on Friday after opening with 77 (+5) on Thursday. The junior is in 15th place at two-over (146) and has made 19 pars and eight birdies so far.

Zach Stocker and Holden Backes are tied for 25th at five-over (149) through two rounds. Stocker has posted scores of 73 (+1) and 76 (+4), tallying 21 pars and six birdies. Backes turned in scores of 77 (+5) and 72 (E) in Rounds 1 and 2, combining to make 22 pars and five birdies.

Matthew Ruel, after shooting five-over (77) in Round 1, finished two strokes better in Round 2 at three-over (75) and sits in a tie for 35th at eight-over (152). Jace Minni is tied for 41st at 11-over (155) after shooting 77 (+5) and 78 (+6). Ruel has made 19 pars and four birdies, and Minni has made 26 and one. Minni's 26 pars are tied for second-most on the individual leaderboard.

Loyola Marymount's Riley Lewis entered the day in a tie for first place at three-under par (69). He remains solo atop the individual leaderboard heading into the final round at five-under (139). Pepperdine holds the edge on the team leaderboard as the only team under par through the first two rounds at three-under (573).
