SPOKANE, Wash. – Twelve Gonzaga women rowers have been named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) scholar athletes.
A student-athlete must have a 3.5 GPA or higher in order to be named a scholar-athlete. They must also have met all eligibility rules, be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility, rowed in a minimum of 75% of the NCAA or IRA spring or regional races and have a head coach in good standing with the CRCA.
The 12 student-athletes breaks the program record for most Zags named as an CRCA scholar athlete with the previous record being 11 in 2014. This also marks the first time Gonzaga has had rowers named CRCA scholar athletes since 2018.
