Biography
2021-22: At the Head of the Lake event, helped the Second Varsity 8 team finish with a time of 11:50.753 in fourth place… Has multiple first-place finishes this season, including a first-place finish with the Fourth Varsity 8 team at the PLU Event and with the Second Varsity 4 team at the San Diego Crew Classic… Rowing in the No.7 position, helped the Third Varsity 8 team finish third against Washington State University…Part of the crew that swept the WCC Championships and competed at the NCAA Championships
2019-20: Rowed with the second varsity eight for the fall season… helped the Bulldogs to an 18:43.5 finish at the Head of the Spokane time trial…in the final fall race of the season, helped GU to a 15:30.2 finish in the 4,000-meter time trial against Washington State and Oregon State…spring season shortened due to COVID-19.
2018-19: At the Portland Fall Classic, finished third in the novice eight boat...in the second novice eight against Oregon State and Washington State, finished second...at the Fawley Cup, placed third in the third varsity eight.
High School: Attended Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash…was a four-year diver on the varsity team, competing on the 1-meter springboard… also dove for four years for the Pacific Northwest Diving club team…placed in the Top-25 in the 1-meter springboard at the AAU Diving Nationals in 2015…placed 2nd at the 2016 Regionals in the 3-meter springboard…graduated with a 3.9 GPA and was a Scholar Athlete all four years.
MISC: Daughter of Bridget and Frank Salmick…has two brothers Frankie and Jack…is a double-major in both nursing and Spanish…chose Gonzaga because she was excited to join a school where everyone cares about contributing to a community and working together to impact those around them.
