Logan Law Signs With GU Men's XC/TF

SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga Men's Cross Country / Track & Field Head Coach Pat Tyson announced the signing of Milwaukie (OR) runner Logan Law to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday, adding another freshman who will join the Zags next fall.

A second-place finisher at the Oregon 5A State Championships and third-place finisher at state in both the 1500m and 3000m in 2022, Law touts personal bests of 3:58 in the 1500m, 8:27 in the 3000m and 14:34 in the 5000m. The Milwaukie, Ore. native, who also finished fifth overall at XC State in 2021, carries a 4.0 GPA and is a starting guard for the Mustangs' boy's basketball team.

"I wanted to sign with GU because it's the best team culture I've ever seen — I wanted to be a part of that," Law said. "I'm excited for some great races ahead!"

Tyson on Law: "Logan is one of the best high school runners in the West.  Extremely athletic — he will be a great addition to our team!  Full meal deal."
