THE TIPOFF
- The Gonzaga women's basketball continues West Coast Conference play this Thursday, Jan.19 at Pacific. Tipoff is slated for 11 a.m. at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
- GU is coming off a 73-66 win over Portland on Jan. 14. to remain a perfect 7-0 in the WCC.
Brynna Maxwell finished with a team-high of 20 points.
Esther Little had 12 points, nine rebounds along with three steals and assists for Gonzaga.

- The Zags have four players currently averaging double digits in the first 19 games of the season, including

Eliza Hollingsworth (10.3). Ejim currently is fourth and Truong is fifth in the WCC in scoring. Maxwell also is ninth in the conference.
- The Bulldogs are currently shooting at a program record 80.1 percent from the free throw line, which also ranks first in the country.
Brynna Maxwell leads the team individually with 98.1 percent, which leads the nation. She currently has made 39-straight free throws in a row and has only missed on this year.

Brynna Maxwell has made a three-pointer in every game so far this season. Maxwell is shooting 54.4 percent from the three-point line to rank first in the country.
- As a team, the Bulldogs are shooting 41.2 percent from beyond the arc, which is currently ranked second in the nation and first in the WCC.

Kaylynne Truong is currently dishing out 5.2 assists a game to rank second in the conference and 27th in the country.
- Gonzaga is on a 10-game winning streak with its last loss being against No. 2 Stanford on Dec. 4. The streak ranks eighth in the country as the team sits in first-place in the WCC.
- GU is ranked 37th in the country in scoring margin with 14.3 points and 27th in field goal percentage with 45.9 percent.
- The Bulldogs were picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received nine first-place votes that and totaled 81 points in the poll. The poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, and coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team. Portland received one first-place votes and was selected to finish second with 71 points, while BYU was voted to finish third with 55 points.
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 257-33 (.886) during the last 17 seasons, which includes 16 West Coast Conference regular-season titles and nine WCC Tournament championships.

LAST MEETING: The Bulldogs went 2-0 against Pacific last year. The most recent contest was at home when the Zags won 79-38.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- UOP sits at 7-11 overall and 2-5 in the West Coast Conference this year.
- Pacific is led by Liz Smith, who averages 13.1 points and 3.1 rebounds a game.
- Anaya James is the next best scorer with 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds a game. She also dishes out an average of 5.5 assists.
- The Tigers are coming off an 80-66 loss at Santa Clara. The two wins this year in conference play was against LMU on Jan. 7 and Pepperdine on Jan. 5.
