Yvonne Ejim Named WCC Player of the Week

This is the second-straight week Ejim has been given the honors
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Yvonne Ejim of Gonzaga and Dyani Ananiev of Portland are the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Ejim was voted the Conference's Player of the Week, while Ananiev was voted the league's Freshman of the Week.

Yvonne Ejim averaged 25 points this week highlighted by a 27-point performance over No. 3 Stanford to lead the Zags to the 96-78 upset. She also collected 23 points in GU's 82-80 win over Eastern Washington, recording back-to-back doubles to help the Bulldogs go 2-0 on the week. Ejim grabbed 12 rebounds against the Cardinal and pulled down 10 boards at Eastern Washington. This is the second consecutive week that Ejim has won WCC Player of the Week.
