THE TIPOFF
- Gonzaga women's basketball hosts Pacific this Thursday, Feb. 16. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
- GU is coming off a 63-53 win over Portland on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Kaylynne Truong scored 20 points to lead GU to the victory in front of a sold out crowd in the McCarthey Athletic Center. The win puts Gonzaga in first place in the West Coast Conference standings at 13-1 in the league and 23-3 overall.
- The Zags have three players currently averaging double digits in so far this season, including
Yvonne Ejim (16.7),
Kaylynne Truong (16.4), and
Brynna Maxwell (14.2). Ejim currently is fourth and Truong is fifth in the WCC in scoring. Maxwell also is 10th in the conference.
- The Bulldogs are currently shooting at a program record 79.2 percent from the free throw line, which also ranks sixth in the country.
Brynna Maxwell leads the team individually with 95.2 percent, which leads the conference. She currently has only missed four free throws so far this year and has made 62.Â

Brynna Maxwell has made a three-pointer in every game so far this season. Maxwell is shooting 50.7 percent from the three-point line to lead the nation.Â
- As a team, the Bulldogs are shooting a school record breaking 41.4 percent from beyond the arc, which is currently ranked first in the country.Â
- Gonzaga is undefeated at home so far this year and has won the last 18-straight home games.Â
- Ejim leads the Zags in scoring with 16.9 points a game and has recorded four double doubles already this year. She has currently scored in double figures for 14-straight games and 22 times this season.

Kaylynne Truong is currently dishing out 5.3 assists a game to rank first in the conference and 19th in the country. Overall, she has recorded 139 assists which is good for 16th in the nation. She has also scored in double figures in 16-straight games, and 23 games total this year. Against Portland, she scored her 1,000th career point in a Gonzaga uniform.Â
- The Zags are 29th in the country in field goal percentage with 45.5 percent. The mark is good for second in the WCC.
- Injuries have been an issue for GU this season as Gonzaga has been without senior guard

Eliza Hollingsworth has also missed the last four games with a concussion.Â
- The Bulldogs were picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received nine first-place votes that and totaled 81 points in the poll. The poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, and coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team. Portland received one first-place votes and was selected to finish second with 71 points, while BYU was voted to finish third with 55 points.
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 257-33 (.886) during the last 17 seasons, which includes 16 West Coast Conference regular-season titles and nine WCC Tournament championships.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- The Tigers are 12-14 overall and 7-8 in the West Coast Conference. The team is led by Liz Smith with 14.2 points.
- Pacific is coming off a 67-51 win over San Francisco on Feb. 11 in their final  home game of the season.
- Two other Tigers average double figures including Anaya James (11) and Sam Ashby (10.3). Elizabeth Elliot leads the team in rebounds with 5.9 a game and also averages 8.6 points.Â
- Pacific is on a five game winning streak with its last loss on Jan. 26 against San Diego. Through that stretch, the Tigers have defeated BYU, LMU, Pepperdine, Santa Clara and San Francisco.
- Gonzaga had three of the same non-conference opponents as Pacific. The Tigers won against Wyoming (67-53) and lost to UC Davis, 68-74, and Stanford, 98-44.
