SPOKANE, Wash. --The Gonzaga men's rowing team hits the road to compete at the UCSD Challenge this Saturday and Sunday. 

"We are excited to get back on the water and have some good competition," head coach Dan Gehn said. "We have been working hard this week and look forward to getting out there."

On Saturday, the 1V8 competes at 10:30 a.m., against UCSD and USD. The 2V8 then competes at 10:50, against Santa Clara and UCSD. The 3V8 boat races shortly after at 11 a.m. In the afternoon, Gonzaga competes again at 5 p.m., 5:20 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. 

The Zags will also race on Sunday, beginning at 8 a.m. in the 3V8 race. The 1V8 crew begins at 8:30 with the 2V8 boat starting at 8:50 a.m.
