Cate Broerman making the Semifinals of the doubles competition last season.
Gonzaga opened the tournament by seeing two freshman Zags earn their first victories with the program. To start, Gonzaga senior
Kianna Oda and freshman
Emily Robertson picked up an impressive 8-5 victory in their Round of 16 match against Fresno State's Charlotte Gisclon and Carolina Piferi. Shortly after, Gonzaga sophomore
Rose Hayes and freshman Ella Nielen also found success, defeating Nevada's Gabriella Charalampidi and Kennedy Robinson by a score of 8-6 in the Round of 16.

Lia Espinal also performed in the doubles competition, battling hard, but dropping their Quarterfinal match against Sacramento State's Grace McSkimming and Utah's Isabella Pitchford by a score of 8-2.
Moving to the singles competition, Wernli clinched a gritty victory in her first round match, ending with a score of 6-3, 1-6, 6-1. Only minutes later, Nielsen claimed her second victory of the day, clinching a 6-1, 6-1 win over Utah's Isabella Pitchford in her first round match. Robertson also earned her second win of the day, defeating Romane Mosse by a score of 6-3, 6-0 in the first round.
Tiegan Aitken closed out the night with a win over UCSB's Tyra Richardson. Aitken won in a three set battle, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5.
