SPOKANE, Wash. - On a split-squad day for Gonzaga track, the Bulldogs saw 11 new personal best times and one new program indoor record at the Inland Northwest Invitational inside The Podium Saturday.
The women's 4x800m saw a near ten-year program record broken in the early parts of the day. The Zag women entered four teams into the relay, and all four broke the previous record which was set in February of 2014. The winning time from
Brittney Hansen,
Kristen Garcia,
Camille Broadbent, and
Anna Grabowski earned the new record, a near 16-second improvement (9:19.44).
Anna Grabowski took the victory in the women's 800m after a strong finish in the final heat. Her 2:15.29 is now sixth-best in program history after teammate
Ellie Armbruster secured the program record across the state Saturday.
Kate Donaldson and
Ashlinn Aguayo notched PRs in the event behind Grabowski's win.
Tommy O'Neil secured a pair of personal bests, placing fifth (4:17.79) in the mile and tenth (1:58.18) in the 800m.
In the women's 3000m,
