Yeats signs with GU as a transfer after a few impressive seasons with Perth College. The Australia-native has competed on the track in a range of events from the 400m up to the 5K, notching numerous Western Australia (WA) State Championships titles along with Top Five finishes at UniNationals in 2023. Yeats was the Western Australia State Champ in the 800m in 2022, all while earning her third straight title in her age group in the 1500m. She went on to become a U20 National Finalist in the 1500m that season. In 2023, Yeats was the overall WA State Champion in the 1500m before placing fourth at UniNationals to pair with a fifth place in the 800m at the same event. Yeats owns a 2:11.34 PR in the 800m and a 4:29.76 PR in the 1500m as she makes her way to Gonzaga this fall.

Stewart on Yeats: "Nina is a great addition to the program at this point of the year. We certainly are excited about her range on the track but really believe her talent will translate well to cross country in the States. She'll come in and be impactful for the program right away."
