SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Gonzaga's
Guillermo Polo Bodart was named honorable mention All-West Coast Conference the league announced Tuesday.
All three major individual awards – along with the All-West Coast Conference Teams and the All-Freshman Team – were voted on solely by the league's eight head coaches.
Polo Bodart set a new program record with a 71.11 scoring average this season. In 27 rounds, he had 16 par or under par rounds in 2023-24.
At the WCC Championships, Polo Bodart tied for seventh at seven-under (209) in the tournament. The sophomore had the best finish in the event by a Zag since 2020. The Argentinian had a program record low 204 54-hole total, finishing nine-under at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic. He carded a final round of 65 (-6), matching the second-lowest round in program history.
Polo Bodart was recently named Academic All-Conference. He boasts a 3.82 grade point average and is majoring in Economics-Arts.
