Gonzaga Adds Arkansas Transfer Khalif Battle

Battle has one year of eligibility

SPOKANE, Wash. – Khalif Battle, a transfer from Arkansas, signed a financial aid agreement to attend Gonzaga University and will join the men's basketball team for the 2024-25 season.
 
Battle, a native of Hillsdale, N.J., joins the Zags after totaling 1,343 points in 101 games at Arkansas, Temple, and Butler. The 6-5, 185-pound guard, will have one final year of eligibility with GU.
 
Last season at Arkansas, Battle averaged 14.8 points in 24.8 minutes per game. He averaged 29.6 points and 6.3 rebounds through the final seven games of the season for the Razorbacks.
 
A year after making a career-high 77 threes at Temple as a junior, Battle made 48 threes at 35 percent from behind-the-arc. He made 186 free-throws last season, which ranked 17th in the nation, at 87.3 percent, which was fifth in the Southeastern Conference.
