UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's golfer
Carys Baek finished fourth at the season-opening tournament, the Leadership and Golf Invitational hosted by Seattle University at Chambers Bay Golf Course.
Baek was five-under (211) in the event, highlighted by carding a 68 (-4) in the second round. She started the tournament with a two-under (70) opening round and was one-over (73) in the final round.
Jasmine Wong placed 14
th at one-over (217). In her first collegiate round, she carded a 68 (-4). The freshman was even-par (72) in Round 2.
Grace Lee climbed 12 spots on the leaderboard in the final round. The junior was two-over (218) in 15
th place. She was one-under in the first and third rounds.
Gonzaga placed sixth as a team at 18-over (882). The Bulldogs' lowest round of 287 (-1) was in the first round.

Vanessa Zhang (+27, 243) were 75
th and 85
th.
Southern California took the team title at five-under (859). Grand Canyon was second at four-over (868).
San Francisco's Riana Mission and USC's Catherine Park shared medalist honors at eight-under (208).
