SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga secured a 2-0 victory over San Francisco at Luger Field Saturday.
For the second straight game, Gonzaga's (4-7-0, 2-1-0 West Coast Conference) Amelia Severn scored a goal and record an assist. The Zags recorded their second straight shutout. GU outshot the Dons, 19-5, with a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal. Gonzaga possessed the ball for 55 percent of the match.
The Bulldogs opened the first half with a quick offensive push, culminating in Emily Todd's first goal of the season in the fourth minute, assisted by Severn.
