Yvonne Ejim became the first player in West Coast Conference women's basketball history to record at least 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds, surpassing the rebound milestone last week while leading Gonzaga to a pair of wins and earning Heluva Good Dip WCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors. Allie Turner had a career-best shooting performance on Saturday to earn the Heluva Good Dip WCC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week award.
This is the fourth time this season Ejim and Turner have garnered conference honors in the same week. Ejim has been named the player of the week for the fourth time this season and the 13th time in her career. Turner has garnered freshman of the week honors six times, including three times in the last four weeks.

Yvonne Ejim put together two complete performances to lead Gonzaga to wins over San Diego and Pacific, extending the Bulldogs' win streak to nine games. She averaged 24.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks while shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 93.8 percent from the free-throw line. Against San Diego, Ejim scored 25 points and added eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Her eight rebounds against USD put her over 1,000 for her career. In the Pacific win, Ejim posted her ninth double-double of the season with 23 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and one block. Ejim now has 2,151 career points and 1,017 career rebounds. The scoring total is fourth best in WCC history, while the rebounding total ranks sixth in conference history. She is one of five active players in Division I with at least 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

Allie Turner averaged 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds to contribute to Gonzaga's wins over the Toreros and Tigers, as the Zags remain in first place in the WCC at 10-2 in conference games. In the Pacific win, Turner hit 8-of-12 from the field and 6-of-7 from three-point range for 22 points. It marked her fourth 20-point game of the season. Her six threes are a career high. Turner's 66 three-pointers are first nationally among freshmen and are currently third all-time by a freshman in WCC history.
