MORAGA, Calif. – Gonzaga men's tennis (9-7 overall, 1-2 WCC) was defeated 4-1 by St. Mary's on Sunday at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.

Jay Fairclough/Nicholas Reeves won their seventh straight doubles match to remain unscathed when paired up this Spring, however, the Gaels claimed the doubles point by dropping Tom Dunlop/Gus Krauel 6-2 and outlasting Giovanni Branchetti/Kai-Luca Ampaw 7-5. 

In singles, St. Mary's (5-12 overall, 2-1 WCC) took down Reeves and Branchetti to notch two more points. Ampaw got the Zags on the board with a 6-3, 6-4 victory before the Gaels withstood Dunlop in three sets to clinch the overall match.

When the dual ended, Fairclough and Oscar Rashed each led in their third sets.
