SPOKANE, Wash. – Eight members of Gonzaga's Cross Country and Track & Field teams were named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team for 2024-25, the outlet announced on Tuesday.
Ellie Armbruster,
Willow Collins,
Alexi Fogo,
Jessica Frydenlund, and
Anna Grabowski of the women's team, and
Sean Janecko,
Mason Kissell, and
Cooper Laird of the men's team earned Academic All-District nods on Tuesday.
Collins, Janecko, and Laird all earned the academic honor for the second straight season.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
