SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga Volleyball announced the signing of Nikita Clausen on Thursday, adding another blocker with international experience.

A 6'1" Middle Blocker, Clausen will add further depth in the middle of the Zags lineup. She will bring international experience to the team when she arrives in Spokane, having previously competed for Denmark's U22 national volleyball team.

She has previously competed for the Danish youth national team throughout her career before being called up to the U22 team, including representing the U19 team at the North European Volleyball Zonal Association and the U19 European Championship qualifiers.

Clausen will join the Zags in the fall, providing more frontline depth for GU as they begin competition in the new Pac-12 under head coach JT Wenger.
