SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga Track continued to compete in several competitions across the West Coast, taking on the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Whitworth Twilight meet.
Charlie Goss won the 1500 meters at Whitworth, running a personal best time of 3:57.57. Goss has now ran a personal best time in four straight races this spring, and he finished ahead of three runners that were seeded ahead of him while capturing the wire to wire win.
Noah-Laughlin Hall and
Caleb Richardson represented the Zags in the 5000 meters, with Laughlin-Hall running a personal best time of 14:59.89. Richardson finished with a time of 15:26.52.
The Zags put up four times at the Bryan Clay Invitational, with three of those coming in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase.
Paul Talens led the Bulldogs with a 8:54.60 time.
Logan Law fought through a difficult field and getting spiked on the first lap to grit to a 8:56.07 finish, while
Sean Janecko rounded out the field with a time of 9:21.96.
Rosina Machu had the final time of the day for GU, finishing the 10k in 33:02.90.
The Men's Track team will continue to compete at Bryan Clay on Friday and Saturday, while the Women's Track team will take on the Oregon Open on Friday. Bryan Clay is available to stream on FloTrack, while the Oregon Open will be streamed on Runnerspace and Big Ten Network Plus.
