May 15, 2017 SPOKANE, Wash. -- Among the 2017 graduates at Gonzaga University's commencement on Sunday were 79 student-athletes who received undergraduate and graduate diplomas.
Of those 79 to take part in the graduation ceremonies 32 graduated with honors: 19 earning Cum Laude, eight earning Magna Cum Laude, three earning Summa Cum Laude and one graduating with distinction.
Five others also earned a graduate degree this year with Sarah Bradley, Katherine Culver and Ian Goldizen earning a Master's in Business Administration, Zachary Hudson receiving a Master's of Accountancy, and Jessica Mildes getting a Master's of Science in Taxation.
