Gonzaga University Athletics

Summer Housing
GUST Participants will be living in Kennedy Apartments, an apartment style co-ed dorm on the northwest side of Gonzaga’s campus. Kennedy Apartments are located at 121 East Boone Ave and are about a 10 minute walk to Hemmingson (student) Center and Athletics facilities. They include six-person single gender suites, with our program housed on one floor of the dorm. In addition to the three bedrooms, each apartment contains a living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Kennedy also has two laundry rooms on each floor along with a fitness center and activities such as  ping pong, pool and foosball for students to enjoy.

*Please note that Kennedy Apartments will likely not be your housing assignment for Fall 2025 semester. Please plan accordingly.
Summer Housing Application

The office of Housing & Residence Life requires that all students living on-campus during summer (as well as during the academic year) fill out a Housing Application. Participants can access their Housing Application through their ZagWeb account under “Student” → “Housing & Residence Life” → Set up ZagLiving Account.

If you have any Housing specific questions, please contact Heather Gores, Associate AD/Internal Operations, at gores@gonzaga.edu or 509-313-3599. Heather is our liaison with Housing & Residence Life within Athletics.

Summer Packing List

The office of Housing & Residence Life has created the following information for all of our summer program in terms of what to bring to campus for those six weeks.

What to Bring:
Gonzaga University furnishes each room with an extra-long twin bed, dresser, study desk (with hutch and lamp), desk chair, and free-standing closet for each participant. Each residence hall has laundry facilities with washers, dryers, and an ironing board. Each kitchen area within the apartments includes a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, and a sink. Community common space includes lounge furniture, a television, Foosball and pool tables. Additional amenities include vending machines and separate study/reading rooms. Each room has network access. Rooms and community space also have access to basic cable programming.

There are certain items that participants need for their rooms and/or personal use. We suggest the following as essentials:

  • Hangers
  • Sheets (extra-long twin)
  • Pillow
  • Lightweight Clothing (pack light for the six weeks)
  • Hiking Shoes/Comfortable Walking Shoes & Attire
  • Towels
  • Bedspread & Blanket (lightweight)

  • Reusable Water Bottle
You also may wish to bring the following items, considered non-essential but nice to have (you may want to coordinate with your roommate to avoid bringing duplicate items):
  • Computer/Printer
  • Stereo or TV
  • Small Fan
  • Iron
  • Toaster/Microwave
What NOT to Bring for Summer
The following items are prohibited in GU Residence Halls:
