2021: Made 12 mound appearances for a total of 17.2 innings pitched with a 3.06 ERA… Earned a win in the Zags’ series finale against No. 9 TCU (3/14).

2020: Made four appearances on the year and struck out five in 5.2 innings pitched with a 7.94 ERA...pitched 4.0 of two-run ball at Arkansas with five strikeouts...Named to the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.

2019: Made 11 appearances with four starts...Had 15 strikeouts in 23.0 innings on the year, and walked just five...Had a season-best three strikeouts in three different appearances, including a season-high 4.0 innings against Pacific...Had a scoreless inning out of the bullpen on three occasions: San Francisco, Oregon State and Saint Mary's. 

Pendleton High School: Named First Team All-State as a pitcher in 2018 and was ranked as the No. 5 prospect in Oregon by Baseball Northwest...Earned Columbia River Conference Player and Pitcher of the Year honors and named to the CRC First Team as a pitcher and second team as an infielder...Also named Pendleton High School Player of the Year and MVP as a senior, setting a school record with 99 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched with a 1.99 ERA...Pitched in the 2018 Oregon All-Star Series for the state's top 5A and 6A players....As a junior at Pendleton High, fanned 43 batters in 33 innings, allowing a 4.66 ERA...Pitched for Hodgen Distributing AAA in legion ball, for whom he tossed a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 12 batters against 19U Spokane North Stars...

Personal: Son of Robert and Beth Naughton...Chose Gonzaga because of the amazing atmosphere the coaching staff and the school itself has created ... Hobbies and interests include winning and long walks on the beach.
