Biography

2018: Started 56 games for the Zags…posted the third-highest batting average on the squad at .302 with 61 hits, 35 runs and 36 RBIs…led the Bulldogs in homeruns on the season with 10…also claimed the lead in slugging percentage at .505 and on base percentage at .429…also led the team in putouts with 414 to go along with 36 assists and no errors for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage…posted two game-winning homers on the year: a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh against New Mexico State to win 2-1 as well as the team’s first homer of the year against New Mexico in February…picked up the program’s first ever ABCA/Rawlings Division I Gold Glove award in June 2018…was also named the WCC Tournament Most Outstanding Player after finishing the NCAA Minneapolis Regional with two hits, one RBI and two walks to go along with 28 putouts and one assist with no errors for a 1.000 fielding percentage.

2017: Played in 51 games in first year at Gonzaga, starting 48 at first base...hit .229 with .388 on-base percentage...led team with 37 walks...also added 36 hits, 26 runs, 25 RBIs, and five home runs...three errors in 367 chances with .992 fielding percentage...first GU hits came Feb. 19 versus Indiana, hitting a single and a double while scoring a run...first set season high with three hits Feb. 25 at UCLA...reached base six times -- two hits, four walks -- while scoring twice and driving in two runs March 4 in game one at California...four RBIs and two runs on three hits, including one home run March 18 versus Pacific...two-run home run April 1 at Pepperdine...three RBIs, two runs scored on a home run and a walk April 17 versus Washington State...three hits, two RBIs May 18 versus BYU...two hits, one run in title-clinching win against BYU May 20.

Tacoma Community College: Two-year player for the Titans...NWAC Player of the Year as a sophomore after hitting .405...also named 2016 ABCA/Rawlings All-America, Pacific Association Division All-America First team, and Gold Glove...led league with 1.221 on-base plus slugging percentage...tied for second with seven home runs, third with 41 RBIs.

Stadium High School: Played baseball all four years at Stadium, manning first base and pitching...lettered all four years...Narrows League MVP as a senior...also played football for two years.

Club Experience: Played club ball for the Kent Bulldogs in Kent, Washington.

Personal: Parents are Connie and Ken...has a sister named Kaity...majoring in sports management...chose Gonzaga for "the quality education that is offered and the great baseball program."
