GRAD YEAR (2023-24): Drafted by the Washington Mystics with the 21st overall pick… Named to the All-WCC First Team… Was one of three players to start all 36 games this season for the Zags… Played 1084 total minutes and 30.1 minutes per game this year, which lead the team and was a career-high… Maintained impressive shooting statistics throughout the season, finishing with a 42.2% field goal percentage and 79.2% free throw percentage… Had the second-most made three pointers on the squad, with 93, and the second-highest three point percentage on the team and third-highest in the WCC, at 42.1%... SOPHOMORE (2020-21): Game-by-game statistics...Played in all 27 games, starting one…ranked second on the team in assists per game with 3.0…recorded a career-high nine against Pacific on Jan. 4…had at least four assists in 12 contests on the year…averaged 4.1 points per game for the Zags…reached double figures against Eastern Michigan on Dec. 20 with 11, finishing a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor and 2-for-2 from long range…shot 33.3 percent from beyond-the-arc, finishing 22-of-66 for the season…was 35.5 percent from the floor and 86.7 percent from the charity stripe…played a season-high 30 minutes in the WCC Championship against BYU, scoring eight points with two assists, two steals and two rebounds…carried a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio on the year.

FRESHMAN (2019-20): Game-by-game statistics...Saw action in all 31 games for the Zags…scored a season-high nine points on three occasions…recorded five steals at Portland…18 made threes on the year…shot 43.9 percent from beyond-the-arc to lead the Zags…played a season-high 25 minutes at Pepperdine.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated 2019 from Jersey Village High School in Houston, Texas…led the Falcons to a District 17-6A championship with a 33-3 overall record her senior season with a perfect 16-0 record in district play…named the District 17-6A Most Valuable Player after averaging 19.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.2 steals per game her senior season…finished in double-figures every game during the 2018-19 season with 15 20-point performances and one 31-point effort…averaged 19.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game for her high school career…three time First Team All-District 17-6A performer and was twice named to the All-Greater Houston Preseason Team (2017-18; 2018-19)…was selected as the District 17-6A Newcomer of the Year in 2016…also collected TABC Girls All-Region Class 6A Region 3 honors in 2018…participated in the 2018 USA Basketball Women’s U17 World Cup Team Trials in May 2018…ranked by ESPN as the 28th best point guard in the nation…three-time CFISD First Team Academic All-District 17-6A.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Katherine Nguyen and Man Truong…has one brother, Jonathan, and a twin sister, Kayleigh…twin sister Kayleigh also plays for Gonzaga…majoring in kinesiology…chose Gonzaga because “I felt like I can grow my faith and I loved the team and coaching staff. I was surrounded by great people and they made me feel welcome.”
