Meffert joins the Zags after a year at Point Loma Nazarene University, where he was named a 2025 All-Conference player in the outfield. He joined the Sea Lions after finishing his undergraduate career at George Fox University, where he was a two time All-Region and two time All-Conference selection. Meffert was named an All-American at Shortstop in 2024. He hit .338 while stealing 12 bases and putting together 26 extra base hits last season.
Meffert joins the Zags after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications and a Master’s degree in Sports Management.

Honorable Mention All-WCC….Started 53 games while serving primarily as an outfielder…..Tied for team lead with 8 stolen bases….Hit .314 with 70 hits…..Scored 49 runs while driving in another 47 runs….Hit 11 home runs….Put up 27 extra base hits with another 15 doubles and a triple….Contributed 117 putouts with a .982 fielding percentage
