REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019-20): WCC Tournament Most Outstanding Player … appeared in 33 games … started in 23 … averaged 29.4 minutes … 10.6 points … eighth in WCC at 6.33 rebounds … 11th in WCC at 3.21 assists … 10th at 1.27 steals … fourth in WCC at 2.08 assist-to-turnover ratio … eight at 4.85 defensive rebounds … scored a career-high 21 points in the Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinals versus Southern Miss on Nov. 27, with 12 rebounds … grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds, with 10 points, against Arkansas-Pine Bluff … scored 20 points in win at San Diego … had seven assists twice, including the win at No. 15 Arizona on Dec. 14 … made four steals in win over BYU on Jan. 18 … scored in double-digits 20 times … nine games with at least eight rebounds … five or more assists in nine games … three or more steals six times.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018-19): Appeared in 23 games…averaged 5.6 minutes per game…five points against Denver and North Alabama…grabbed five rebounds versus Denver…season-high 12 minutes versus North Dakota State, UT Arlington and Denver ... Following the season during the summer at the FIBA U19 World Cup, Ayayi scored a game-high 33 points in France's bronze medal game win over Lithuania ... He finished third in the tournament averaging 20.9 points per game, at 50.9 percent shooting from the field, which ranked 10th ... Ayayi scored at least 25 points in four games, including a pair of 33-point outings ... In a quarterfinal win over Canada, he scored 25 points, had eight rebounds and seven assists ... Ayayi dished out 3.4 assists per game, with a 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio. He averaged 2.1 steals per game in the event ... He was named to the tournament's All-Star Five for his efforts.

FRESHMAN (2017-2018): Redshirted ... Following the season during the summer, Ayayi led France to a third place finish at the U-18 European Championships, after falling to Serbia in the semifinals ... He averaged 15.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals in the tournament ... Ayayi made 50 percent of his shots and nearly 35 percent of his 3-pointers ... He scored 22 points in a 79-70 win over Russia in the third place game ... Ayayi was named to the All-Star Five at the U18 European tournament.

PRIOR TO GONZAGA: Ayayi trained with the French sports institute (INSEP) and played for France in the FIBA under-16 European championships. In seven games there, the athletic, quick Ayayi averaged 11.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists as France finished sixth in the 16-team tournament. He averaged 12.2 rebounds per 40 minutes. Current Bulldog, Killian Tillie, and former Gonzaga standout Ronny Turiaf, both attended the INSEP Academy, France’s national institute for sport, expertise and performance.
