Senior (2021-22): Had a record of 3-1 in singles matches this season, performing on courts five and six... Has been paired with Oliver Andersson and Tom Hann in doubles matches this year... Ending the season on a two-match win streak, finishes the year with a 6-4 overall record and 3-3 conference record in doubles competition... 

Junior (2020-21): WCC All-Academic First Team...Singles: Finished singles play with a 7-6 overall record at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions…all seven of his singles wins came in straight sets…put together a three-match win streak from March 19-20, picking up victories against Eastern Washington and two against Nebraska-Omaha…Doubles: Finished with a 5-9 overall record with five matches left unfinished…played at the No. 1 doubles the entire season with three different partners.

Sophomore (2019-20): ITA Scholar Athlete Singles: Posted an 11-6 overall record before the spring season was shortened due to COVID-19…picked up back-to-back wins at the EWU Fall Classic, defeating EWU’s Martin Bats 6-3, 6-3 followed by Idaho’s Alejandro Sedeno, 6-4, 6-3…won all three singles matches at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic, defeating Ignacio Martinez 6-0, 4-0, ret., Cal Poly’s Cambell Nakayama 6-1, 6-4 followed by UCLA’s Connor Rapp 6-3, 6-2…opened the spring season with five straight wins with the sixth match going unfinished…defeated Gvidas Motuzas of Nevada 6-3, 6-3 in his final victory of the season. Doubles: paired with multiple Zags on the season…finished with a 7-10 overall record with a 3-6 mark in duals…won his first two doubles matches with Matthew Hollingworth, defeating Idaho 8-2 followed by EWU 8-2…picked up his first doubles wins of the spring season with a 6-4 win over New Mexico’s Stepan Holis and Alex Maggs with partner Eric Hadigian…final victory of the season came on Feb. 9 with a 6-4 victory over Boise State with partner Hunter Egger.

2018-19 (Freshman - Kentucky): Has a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) high of 12.92...Went 4-9 for Kentucky during the dual-match season, including a 3-0 mark at the No. 3 spot in the lineup...In the fall season, advanced to the semifinals of the A1 Singles Draw at the Wake Forest Invitational, and the quarterfinals of the UVA Masters backdraw.

High School: Ranked as high as 27th nationally in Head’s national recruiting list – first in the Northwest and Washington … Picked up several wins over players with ATP points and had 11 wins over five-star recruits … Advanced to the round of 16 of the USTA National Boy’s 18U Championships … Won multiple local and high school tournaments, including the Washington State High School Championship.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Shantha McDonald...Has one sister, Shayna...Majoring in business adminstration with a concentration in finance.
