Biography

SOPHOMORE (2024): Started all 19 games, one of five Zags to do so... Logged a career-high 1,554 minutes, third-most on the team... Set career highs in nearly every offensive category, including goals (3), assists (6), points (12), shots (53), shots on goal (27), and SOG% (0.509)... Took 13 shots in a single game vs. New Mexico State (9/12/24)... Named to the All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention Team... Her six assists tied for the ninth-most in program history.

FRESHMAN (2023-24): Named to the All-WCC Freshman Team… Saw action in all 20 matches, including starting 15 matches this season… Logged a career-high 1467 total minutes on the year, which was the sixth-most on the team and second-most by any freshman on the squad… Earned her first collegiate goal against Pacific… Also tallied two assists this season, occurring against San Diego and Loyola Marymount… Had 34 shots and 14 shots on goal this season, which were the fourth-most on the team… Ended the year with a shot on goal percentage of 41.2%... Had a career-high three shots on goal against South Florida and San Diego… Played all 90 minutes on three separate occasions this year.

PRIOR TO GONZAGA: Warta joins Gonzaga after a stellar career at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, Oregon. In three years of high school soccer, Warta was a three-year varsity letter winner and tallied 63 goals and 17 assists. Warta earned many awards and honors throughout her prep career, including being named to the Portland Thorns Academy's First Team all Northwest Conference, breaking her school's single season goal scoring record (32) and was an OSAA State final player of the game. She also participated in track and field where she helped her school's 4x100 team to a 5A state championship in 2020. Warta's family have also competed at the collegiate level as her dad, Greg Warta, was a soccer player at George Fox University and Saint Mary's College; mom, Jessica Warta, ran track and cross country at Washington State University; and sisters, Allison Warta, played soccer at Regis University in Denver, Colo., and Gabby Warta, played soccer at Idaho State University.
