Biography
2015: Saw action in 18 matches and 56 sets as a sophomore...set career high with 3.98 assists per set, posting 223 total assists...also added 92 digs, 1.64 a frame...made season debut Sept. 18 at Kansas, seeing a double-double with 10 assists and 10 digs...dished out 25 assists Sept. 19 versus UMKC...reached double digits in assists during first eight matches of the year...set season high for any Bulldog with 32 assists Nov. 7 at Loyola Marymount...posted another double-double with 26 assists, 12 digs at Saint Mary's Nov. 19.
2014: Played in all 29 matches, starting eight as a freshman...second on the team with 273 assists and 244 digs...also third with 15 aces...saw first career action August 29 at Boise State, tallying nine assists, two digs, and one kill in three-set victory...tallied 10 digs August 30 vs. Portland State...earned first collegiate start September 25 at BYU, digging 12 balls...tallied season-high 34 assists in win over LMU October 4...set season high with 18 digs October 9 at San Francisco...dished out 22 or more assists in three consecutive games November 8-15.
High School: Played volleyball all four years at Liberty High School in Bakersfield, Calif....tallied 488 kills, 527 digs as a senior...earned League MVP, First Team All-Area honors in 2013...also earned Jockey Club Award, team MVP, and Liberty's Top Female Athlete awards as a senior...finalist for Jim Tyack and Female Athlete of the Year PEAAK Awards...Second team All-Area as a junior in 2012...named Volleyball Outstanding Scholar in 2012 and 2013...also participated in track for one year (high jump, long jump, and triple jump) and basketball (point guard) for one year.
Personal: Daughter of Dana and Don Leonard...has two brothers: Blake and Ryan...uncle Dale Leonard played baseball at Vanguard University...business major...career goals are to be a purchasing agent for an oil company...grew up doing gymnastics for eight years.
