CHENEY, Wash. - Gonzaga University's women's tennis squad has improved its season record to 6-1 after beating up on the University of Montana Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs buried the Grizzlies 8-1 in dual match action at Eastern Washington University.

The Zags return to the courts Saturday when they face Eastern Washington followed by a match with Portland State University.

The winless Eagles faced the Bulldogs in October while the meeting with Portland State is the first between both squads. The Vikings are 0-1 in their inaugural season heading into the matches in Cheney, WA.

Gonzaga will face EWU at noon and PSU at 4:30.
