MISSOULA, Mont. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team ended the weekend on a sour note as they dropped both weekend matches falling to the University of Idaho, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon. Emily Anderson picked up the lone Bulldogs point winning at No. 1 singles over Michelle Ruman, 7-6, 6-4. Erin Humphrey was also close to picking up a point falling at No. 2 singles to Mariel Tinnerello, 7-6, 6-4.
Gonzaga also won at No. 1 doubles with Anderson and Schofield winning their match 8-4. Humphrey and Sydney Lederhouse were also competitive at No. 2 doubles losing 7-4 in the tie-break.
Gonzaga falls to 0-8 on the year. Idaho improves to 2-7. The Bulldogs return to action next weekend at the Lewis-Clark State College Tournament in Lewiston, Ida.
