SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University had five players post singles victories as the Bulldogs beat Seattle University 6-1 in a non-conference match Friday afternoon.
Gonzaga (7-13) had all three doubles teams record victories with No. 3 doubles pairing of Mike Merz and Michael Schuster posting an 8-7 win in their first time playing together this season.
The Bulldogs then went on to take five of the six singles matches. Stefan Feddersen recorded his sixth win of the season at No. 1 singles as Roman Dojcak, Scott Sullivan and Zach Peach each recorded wins on the day. Jake Davis won his team-leading 11th win of season with his No. 3 singles victory.
Gonzaga and Seattle will match up again Saturday.
