What's the biggest tip you would give to young aspiring volleyball players out there?
Never let somebody tell you that you can't do something- as in, never let somebody hold you back from achieving your goals.

How/when did you start playing volleyball?
I started when I was in fifth grade, and I played for a local club near my hometown. I played up until I graduated high school, and thankfully I was able to move to such a unique program here at Gonzaga.

What are your goals for the season?
To help our team achieve our goals to the best of my ability. To apply the lessons I've learned and the skills I've practiced to make my team better.

If you had a day off from volleyball, what would you do?
I would probably watch the X-Files in between naps.

What made you choose Gonzaga?
I loved Gonzaga because it's small, and coming from a small town I know that a close community creates special relationships between people who will help shape who you are. I also knew that at Gonzaga I would be able to receive a great education while playing the sport I loved. I care about education just as much as athletics, so Gonzaga was the place for me.

What is your favorite athletic memory at Gonzaga?
Last year when we played at LMU there was a heckler in the crowd that was getting everyone hyped. I love a competitive environment, and I especially love proving people wrong. Even though we ended up losing the match (which is pretty anticlimactic) I like the fire that was lit within us after the match.

What would be your dream job?
I want to be an attorney. I would love to be a prosecutor like the one in the Jodie Foster movie "The Accused."

What is your favorite thing about Spokane?
The long and hot summers. I like the sun and being able to float on the river. The icy winters however, are not as wonderful.

Favorite sport (other than volleyball)
Basketball. I also really love watching football, but I haven't been able to see a game live in almost 3 years. That's the first thing I want to do during the fall after I'm finished playing volleyball!

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Dancing. I'm really terrible. Like, it's painful to watch.
