BOULDER CITY, Nevada--After prolonged stormy weather throughout the morning, round two of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown was cancelled Monday and will not be made up.

With play slated to begin at 8:00 a.m. this morning, the Gonzaga University women's golf team waited for nearly five hours in hopes that the weather would allow play to begin at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Bulldogs now enter the final day tied for 13th place after counting 292 strokes (+4) during the tournament's first round.

The Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, with the final 18 holes. That will be Gonzaga's last round of the fall season.
