HOW TO WATCH
- The game will be televised live locally on SWX. SWX is slated to broadcast five home games and one away game in the 2016-17 season. The live stream will also be available at eversport.tv/big-sky.

NICE COUPLE DAYS
- A day after the Gonzaga men routed Washington inside the McCarthey Athletic Center, the women took their turn Thursday beating Washington State 79-61. They finished the first quarter on a 21-12 run that gave them a lead they would not relinquish in a game they never trailed in. The Zags' 34 first-quarter points were a program high, breaking the mark of 33 set against BYU last season at home on February 27.

FORTIER FASTEST COACH TO 50 WINS
- Lisa Fortier earned her 51st career win against Washington State, moving to 51-24. She is the fastest coach in GU women's basketball history to reach the 50-win plateau. Mike Peterson (1985-1989) reached that mark at the conclusion of his third year, Julie Holt (1989-1994) got there in her fifth season, and Kelly Graves (2000-2014) hit the mark in his fourth season. Fortier's 24 losses are the lowest total at the 50-win point, besting Peterson's total of 35. 30 of Fortier's wins have come inside the McCarthey Athletic Center, 18 on the road, and three at neutral locations.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Zags lead the series 30-13 all-time.
- Gonzaga enters Sunday riding a 12-game winning streak against the Eagles and have not lost in the series since December 31, 2003, a 69-72 loss in the Spokane Arena.
- The 12-game streak marks the longest streak in the series for either team.
- The Zags also are riding a seven-game winning streak in Cheney, dating back to a 63-65 loss in Cheney in 1998, also marking the longest road winning streak for either team in the series.
- In the late 80s and early 90s, the teams met in the Wheatland Classic four times. The event took place in Cheney, Moscow, Idaho, Spokane, and Pullman.
- From 1982-1990, Eastern Washington won seven of the eight matchups, but since then they have only won six times in the last 35 games.
- Gonzaga used a 21-5 run in the fourth quarter to ease away from Eastern Washington, 78-56, last season on November 19 in Spokane. Shelby Cheslek recorded her 10th career double-double and Kiara Kudron had her second-double already in the season, finishing with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
- The best game in the series came on December 9 in 2006, as Gonzaga won 103-102 in overtime in Cheney. Heather Bowman paced the Bulldogs to victory scoring a career-high 32 points. Stephanie Hawk closed out the game with 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Zags.

PAC-12 POWER LOSS
- With the win over Washington State, and the November 18th win at No. 11/7 Stanford, the Zags moved to 2-0 against the Pac-12 Conference this season. The last time the Zags beat two schools from the Pac-12 was 2010, when they beat Washington State twice in the non-conference schedule. The fastest the Zags have ever beaten two Pac-12 opponents came a year earlier in 2009, when they beat USC and then Washington three days later on November 22. By comparison, the rest of the West Coast Conference is 0-14 against the Pac-12 this year, with Saint Mary's 62-63 loss to Utah being the closest game.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
- Junior Delaney Hodgins became just the 17th player in Eastern Washington women's basketball program history to score 1,000 points on Thursday afternoon (Dec. 8), as the Eagles posted an 84-67 victory over Cal State Fullerton at Reese Court.
- EWU has played six of their first eight games away from home this season.
- On Tuesday (Dec. 6), Delaney Hodgins was named the Co-Big Sky Player of the Week after averaging 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals per contest in two road contests. Hodgins was also named the College Sports Madness Big Sky Player of the Week two weeks before after shooting a combined 81.4 percent (22-of-27) from the field in a pair of wins at Utah Valley and against Multnomah University.
- Eastern Washington claimed the top RPI slot in the Big Sky Conference at 62.
- Delaney Hodgins has scored 10-or-more points in each of her last 25 contests.
- EWU has scored 70-or-more points in four of its past five contests and shot 50 percent-or-better in three of their last five games.
- EWU gathered three first place votes in the Big Sky Conference Media Poll to earn a fourth-place prediction, while they picked up a fifth-place selection in the Coaches Poll.
- Delaney Hodgins was selected to the 2016-17 Preseason All-Big Sky team.

SHOOT WELL AND WIN
- The Zags shot above 50 percent from the field for the fourth time in eight games this season against Washington State. The Zags have won all four of those games, including the blowouts over Presbyterian and UC Irvine and road win over No. 11 Stanford. The Zags shot 42 percent in their two losses and 40 percent against Winthrop, in a game they won.

SWEET HOME SPOKANE
- The Zags numbers at home this year are staggering. Besides the 4-0 record, GU is averaging 84.5 points per game inside McCarthey Athletic Center and beating their opponent by an average of 38.5 points per game.
- GU is shooting 50 percent and holding their opponent to 29 percent from the field.
- The Zags have controlled the glass as well, averaging 46.8 rebounds per game, a 20.5 rebound per game advantage over their competitor.
- The Bulldogs are averaging 20.5 assists per game while only seeing eight per game headed in the other direction.
- The Zags have blocked 26 shots in four games, and have only had seven of their shots blocked in 160 minutes of action in The Kennel.
- GU is dialing 43 percent from long range and their opponent is struggling at 16 percent behind the arc.

BLOCK PARTY
- The Zags have blocked 46 shots already this season, compared to only 16 for their opponents. Jill Barta is leading the party with 1.75 blocks per game, 69th in the NCAA and third in the WCC. As a team GU is averaging 6.3 blocks per game, which is 16th in the NCAA and first in the WCC. Elle Tinkle is next with eight blocks and Emma Wolfram has six.

LOOKING FOR THAT FAST START
- The Zags started the season 5-3 in head coach Lisa Fortier's first season two years ago, and 5-3 last season as well. On Thursday the Zags locked in the 6-2 start, representing the best start in program history since the team went 8-2 in 2013-2014.
