No GU men's golfer has ever won the event, but James Fahy and Sean Walsh placed second and third in 2013. Fahy was two-under (214) and Walsh was one-under (215).
Mogg made 12 pars and two birdies in the third and final round. He was two-over (74) in Round 3. He finished the tournament eight-under on the course's Par-5 holes, with an average of 4.33 on those holes.

"Once again the wind was up and the pins were in difficult positions," GU Head Coach
Robert Gray said. "I followed Chris today and he hit the ball pretty good and made some amazing up/downs when he did miss a green. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get enough putts to fall to get the individual win for him. He did a great job fighting and keeping himself in it all day. His T3 finish is pretty good in this Conference and ties him for 2nd best all time in program history at the Conference Championship for both his finish and total score of 212.
"For the team, we had a lot of average scores today. You're definitely going to get rounds over par in those conditions and we just didn't have any under par rounds to help offset them. Regardless, I'm proud of how the guys kept fighting all week. Each player had times when they're round could've easily gotten out of control but they hung in there and got the best out of each round that they could. For our lone senior Tyler, it's been a real pleasure having him on the team and watching him grow over the years. He's a class act and were privileged to call him a Zag for life!"
Pepperdine defended its conference title, and captured its 20
th WCC title, finishing 13-under (851). The Waves were four-under (284) in the third round. San Francisco was second at 10-under (854).
Pepperdine's RJ Manke won medalist honors by defeating Loyola Marymount's Riley Elmes in a playoff. Both golfers were six-under (210) in the tournament.
