THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga and BYU meet for the 24th time on Saturday in Spokane, at 7 p.m. The Zags have a 17-6 advantage in the series, and have won five straight versus the Cougars.
- GU has won five of the eight Spokane matchups in the series, all coming inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
- The Bulldogs are coming off of a 104-54 win over Santa Clara Thursday. Five Zags reached 15 points in the victory.
- Gonzaga is 5-0 in WCC play for the sixth straight season.
- GU's 32 straight regular season conference wins is currently the longest streak of its kind in the nation, and one win from breaking the WCC record (Pepperdine '91-'93).

SERIES NOTES:
- This is the 24th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and BYU. The Zags have a 17-6 advantage in the series, with all 23 matchups coming under
Mark Few.
- The Zags have won the last five meetings, including the latest, 102-68, in Spokane last season. On Senior Night GU,
Zach Norvell Jr. scored 25 points,
Rui Hachimura had 23 points and 10 rebounds and
Josh Perkins added 21 points and seven assists.
- Gonzaga has won five of the eight Spokane matchups in
the series, all coming inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
- Last season in Provo, Gonzaga cruised to a 93-63 win at BYU.
Brandon Clarke scored 23 points and
Rui Hachimura added 20.
Corey Kispert had 16 points and
Josh Perkins dished out 10 assists. The Bulldogs shot 37-for-63 (59 percent) from the field — including 10-for-20 from 3-point range.
- GU has won six of the eight meetings in Provo, including
the last five matchups at BYU.
- GU has won all five of the meetings against the Cougars in
the WCC Tournament, including in the 2014, 2015 and 2018 championship games.
- The Cougars won the first-ever meeting, 89-67, in the third
round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament in Denver, Colo.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS:
- BYU is coming off of a 93-70 win at home over San Diego Thursday. Kolby Lee scored a career-high 21 points, making all eight of his attempts from the field. Five other Cougars reached double figures in scoring with TJ Haws scoring 19 points and Jake Toolson contributing 14 points. BYU shot 55 percent from the field, including 11-of-22 on three-pointers.
- Four Cougars average double-digit scoring, with Jake Toolson scoring 14.9 points per game. Haws adds 13.5 points per outing.
- Over the last three games Lee is 18 of 22 (.818) from the field and is averaging 14.3 points per game.

TAMING THE BRONCOS:
- The Bulldogs eased to a 104-54 win over Santa Clara in Spokane. Gonzaga has beat SCU by a combined 156 points in the programs last three meetings.
- It was the first time since 2013, that five Zags each scored at least 15 points in a game. Five GU players reached 15 points in a win over Chaminade in the 2013 Maui Invitational.
- After a pair of close games to open conference play, the Zags have won their last three league games by an average of 39.7 points (119 total points).
