Machu Signs with Gonzaga Cross Country and Track

Zags ink Boise High School standout

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's cross country and track Head Coach Jake Stewart announced the signing of Rosina Machu Monday.

"Rosina has shown herself to be one of the top cross country athletes coming out of the state of Idaho these last two years," Stewart said. "Rosina's level of steadiness and consistency will have an immediate impact in our program. Rosina's had a chance to run for one of the best high school coaches and programs in the Northwest at Boise High School, she'll be ready to make that transition from the high ranks to running in the West Coast Conference. She had a great fall under very difficult circumstances. We can't wait to get her to Spokane and Gonzaga University."
