THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga and BYU meet for the 27th time on Monday in Provo, at 8 p.m. Pacific Time. The Zags own an 19-7 advantage in the series.
- In the meeting earlier this season on Jan. 7 in Spokane,
Corey Kispert scored 23 points as Gonzaga jumped to an early lead and coasted to an 86-69 victory.
- GU has won six of the nine meetings in Provo, including
five of the last six matchups at BYU.
- The Zags are coming off of a gritty 76-58 win at Pacific Thursday. GU trailed at halftime, and in the second half, for only the second time this season, before ending the game on a 25-8 run over the final 9:57.
- GU is 9-0 in WCC play for the third straight season.
- In the 360 minutes of conference play so far this season, the Zags have only trailed for 45 minutes and 58 seconds. In the 320 minutes of games at home this season, GU has trailed for a total of 50 seconds.
- Gonzaga is one of the last three unbeaten teams in the nation, and one of three teams that have at least 18 wins.
- The Zags' 22 straight wins dating back to 2019-20 is the longest active streak in nation. (Next: Drake 18, Baylor 17). Gonzaga's 13 straight conference wins is the second-longest active streak behind Belmont's 26.
- GU is first in the nation in scoring offense (93.3), field goal percentage (55.1), and two-point percentage (64.8).
- According to KenPom, GU boasts the nation's second-most efficient offense and eighth best defense.

Corey Kispert (19.9) and
Drew Timme (18.8) lead the WCC in scoring and field goal percentage (Timme, 62.3) (Kispert, 57.3). Kispert also tops the league in three-pointers made per game (3.1) and three-point field goal percentage (48.2).
Jalen Suggs is first in steals (2.2).
Andrew Nembhard is first in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.73).
- Timme (2nd time) and Suggs (7th time) were named the WCC Player and Freshman of the Week.
- The Bulldogs own the current longest home winning streak in the country at 47 victories in-a-row.

- This is the 27th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and BYU. The Zags have a 19-7 advantage in the series, with all 26 matchups coming under

SCOUTING THE COUGARS:
- BYU has won six of its last seven games since falling at Gonzaga on Jan. 7. The Cougars won at Portland in their latest game Thursday, 105-60.
- Five Cougars finished in double-digit scoring, with a sixth at nine points and seventh at eight points. Gideon George scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Brandon Averette added 15 points with a team-best five assists. BYU finished at 62.7 percent from the field, with 15 threes.
- Alex Barcello averages a team-high 15.2 points per game on 52.4 percent shooting from the field, including 48.6 percent behind-the-arc. He's made a team-best 36 threes, and leads the Cougars with 87 assists this season.
- Matt Haarms adds 11.5 points per outing and leads the conference with 30 blocks.
- Averette chips in 11.3 points per game, and has made 32 three-pointers. Caleb Lohner is averaging a team-high 6.5 rebounds.
