No. 41-ranked San Diego (15-4) opened the match with a sweep in doubles play, winning 6-1, 6-1 on both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles courts. Katie Kukaras and Elizabeth Andryukhov led
Cate Broerman and
Kianna Oda 4-3 on No. 3 when the Toreros clinched the doubles point.
In singles play, Gonzaga's
Adrianna Sosnowska fell 6-0, 6-2 to No. 65-ranked Solymar Colling at No. 1 singles, while USD's Jordan McBride defeated
Kate Ketels in two sets at No. 3. The Toreros clinched the match at No. 5 singles, as Kukaras bested
Hannah Jones 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
The Bulldogs close the regular season with a 12-8 overall record with a 4-3 mark in West Coast Conference play, good for a tie for third.
