Men's Golf Inks Chang on Signing Day

Zags receive honor for sixth time in program history

SPOKANE Wash. – Gonzaga men's golf Head Coach Robert Gray announced the signing of Bruce Chang Wednesday.
 
"We're very excited for Bruce's arrival on campus," Gray said. "He's a very experienced player, competing in a lot of amateur and professional events, finding success at both levels. Bruce comes from a great family, is a solid student and is of high character which is very important in our program. He's an all-around solid player and will be a great addition to our program."

Chang carries a World Amateur Golf ranking of 519. He won the first 2022 Future Challenge Championship after rounds of 69, 74 and 70. He was the runner-up at the second Future Challenge Championship. Chang also took medalist honors at the National Fall Tournament following rounds of 69, 76, 73 and 78.
 
In 2021, Chang won the eighth annual FCG Challenge Cup after back-to-back rounds of 69. He was the runner-up at the FCG Callaway World Championships (67-69-69). He led his team to the National Senior High School Championship title after his fifth-place individual finish.
