THE TIP OFF
- The Gonzaga Bulldogs travel to the Bahamas to play in the 2022 Bad Boy Mowers Women's Battle 4 Atlantis. This is the second year in a row that the Zags have traveled somewhere tropical around the holidays as GU won the Rainbow Wahine Showdown tournament last year in Honolulu, Hawaii. In the Bahamas this year, the Zags will face No. 6 Louisville in the opening round on Nov. 19. Other teams in the field include Marquette, Texas, Tennessee, South Dakota State, Rutgers and UCLA. In the next round, the Bulldogs will play either Texas or Marquette.
- This is the second year in a row that the Zags will play Louisville. The last matchup was last year in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in Louisville's home arena. The Bulldogs put up a fight the whole game, but came out just short, 68-59, to the No. 1 seeded team.Â
- The Bulldogs are coming off a gritty 64-66 victory at Wyoming on Nov. 15.
Yvonne Ejim scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Zags to victory. Ejim scored the game winning bucket in the last 10 seconds of the game and also grabbed the last rebound of the contest to secure the road win. The victory marked head coach

Yvonne Ejim was named the WCC Player of the Week after averaging 19 points on 57.1 percent shooting, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals in 25 minutes.
- The Zags are receiving votes in the most recent AP Poll and USA TODAY Sports/WBCA Top 25 Coaches Poll.
- The Bulldogs were recently picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received nine first-place votes that and totaled 81 points in the poll. The poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, and coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team. Portland received one first-place votes and was selected to finish second with 71 points, while BYU was voted to finish third with 55 points.
- Gonzaga has amassed a conference record of 257-33 (.886) during the last 17 seasons, which includes 16 West Coast Conference regular-season titles and nine WCC Tournament championships.
