Box Score SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's tennis team hosted the University of Montana and won 4-0 on Friday afternoon.
 
The Zags came out on top in the doubles round, starting with Adrianna Sosnowska and Cate Broerman defeating Montana's Ivayla Mitkova and Olivia Oosterbaan 6-2 on court one. Frederikke Svarre and Jenna Sloan clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win on court three against Montana's Maria Goheen and Claudia Reguant.
 
Gonzaga's Tiegan Aitken was the first one off of the court during the singles matches, defeating Montana's Alex Walker 6-1, 6-0 on court five. Playing in the No. 1 spot, Broerman defeated Oosterbaan to earn Gonzaga's third point. Finally, Caroline Wernli clinched the match for the Zags by winning her match over Reguant on court six.
 
All other matches went unfinished after the Zags clinched the win with a 4-0 score.
 
Up next: The Bulldogs travel to San Antonio to take on UTSA on Thursday, March 10th, at 11 a.m.
 
Records: Gonzaga women's tennis moves to 5-3 on the season overall. Montana falls to 4-8 on the year.
