THE TIP OFF
- The Gonzaga Bulldogs open up the West Coast Conference tournament with a third matchup against San Francisco this Monday, March 7. The semifinal game is slated for 2 p.m.
- Gonzaga is coming off a 21 point WCC win with an 83-62 victory at home for Senior Day against Loyola Marymount. The Bulldogs were led by senior
Cierra Walker, who went 8-for-11 from beyond the arc and scored 24 points total. The eight three-pointers were just one shy of tying the program record of nine.

Melody Kempton is currently leading the Zags with 10.9 points and 6.5 rebounds a game. She has also recorded 24 blocks so far this year. Junior
Kayleigh Truong also averages 10.9 points per contest and has a team-high 3.7 assists a game. Senior
Anamaria Virjoghe and sophomore
Yvonne Ejim have a team-high 38 block. Ejim has also grabbed 44 steals coming off the bench and averaging 20.1 minutes.

Cierra Walker is ranked eighth in the country and first in the WCC in three-point field-goal percentage as she has averaged 44.7 percent so far this year.

Melody Kempton is currently ranked second in the conference in field-goal percentage at 54.3 percent. The mark is currently ranked first in program history for Gonzaga women's basketball.
- From the charity stripe, the Zags are second in the WCC in free throws made (366) and second in free-throw percentage 76.6, which also ranks 23rd in the nation.
- Defensively, the Bulldogs are first in the conference in scoring defense with 55.7 points. From beyond the arc, Gonzaga is shooting at 35.5 percent, which is first in the WCC.
- The Zags are averaging 40.5 rebounds a game and a 10.4 rebound margin, which ranks sixth in the nation and both marks rank first in the WCC.
- In conference games won this year, GU has an average margin of victory 20.3 by points.
- Last season, the Zags advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth-straight year under head coach
Lisa Fortier. Gonzaga returns two starters and seven letterwinners from last season's squad that claimed the Zags' fifth consecutive West Coast Conference regular season title.

SCOUTING THE DONS
- San Francisco is currently 17-14 overall and 10-8 in the WCC. The Dons are coming off a quarterfinal win over No. 6-seeded Santa Clara, 72-63.
- Ioanna Krimili led both teams by scoring 18 points as the Broncos did everything they could to limit her production but she still manage to lead both sides and knocked down 8-of-10 free throws to help guide the Dons to victory.
- Krimili is leading the team over with 19.6 points in an average 35.2 minutes a game. She also leads the Dons in three-pointers, making 71 so far this year.
- Kennedy Dickie grabs an average of 6.8 rebounds a game and currenlty has a team-high 40 steals this season.
- USF ended their regular season on a high note going 6-3 in the month of February including winning three straight road games to finish the conference season.
