SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men's golf Head Coach Robert Gray announced the signing of Charlie Olson Wednesday.
 
"We're excited to have Charlie joining our program," Gray said. "He's relatively new to the game and has quickly elevated his game into shooting under par and competing with guys who have much more experience and time in the game. We feel he's just beginning to take his game to another level and he'll just get better and better in the coming years."

Olson was the Toyota Tour Cup Champion He has three AJGA Top 15 finishes and qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur. The Newport Beach, Calif., native has a JGS differential -2.5.
 
Olson led Corona Del Mar to the CIF Southern section team honor, while being named first team all- league. He was also named a Top 5 Toyota Tour Cup Player of the Year. Nationally, Olson ranks 350^th overall and 178^th in the class or 2024. He is 47^th overall in California and 28^th in the 2024 class.
 
Off the course, Olson earned the Teachers Award and was Freshman Class President. Under Head Coach Mike Starkweather he earned three varsity letters. Olson was also the setter on the school's volleyball team.
